We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Company Drivers for cross-border open deck operations between Canada and the United States. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Long Haul Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills, technical knowledge, and passion for logistics while contributing to a fast-paced, safety-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform trip inspections on equipment to ensure safety
- Maintain daily logs, inspection sheets, and required paperwork
- Communicate daily with the dispatch team regarding load details, safety concerns, and scheduling.
- Maintain a clean and interior and exterior of tractor and trailer
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security.
We are looking for drivers who have:
- Minimum one years of long-haul or cross-border driving experience preferred
- High School Diploma
- Valid Class 1A or Commercial Driver’s License
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety and regulatory requirements
- Skilled communication and customer service skills
- Ability to secure, and tarp loads as required (extra pay).
