Position Summary: Covenant Care welcomes all who share a call to serve those most in need. Reporting to the Resident Care Manager (RCM), the primary role of the LPN Supervisor is to work collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of quality resident care and excellence in nursing practice.

Collaborate effectively as a skilled team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s Mission, Vision, and Values

Engage and mobilize teams to fulfill Covenant’s Mission, Vision, Values, and strategic objectives Qualifications:



Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program required Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required

This position requires the ability to use excellent professional judgement and to act as a mentor, leader and role model to all clinical staff.

Ability to speak French an asset Dementia education an asset Strong critical assessment skills

2 years of experience preferred.

This position requires knowledge of all safety programs to prevent accidents and eliminate hazards on-site.

Exhibits open and sincere approach to relating to people by demonstrating respect and compassion for everyone equally

Recognizes and responds effectively to verbal and non-verbal cues with exceptional active listening skills

Ability and knowledge to work in a continuing care setting and the ability to deal with difficult behaviors Ability to cope with frequent changes such as daily routine, workload, shifts and resident needs and possess exceptional multi-tasking and time management skills

This position requires you to be vaccinated against all required communicable diseases under Covenant Care’s OHS policy
