Position Overview / Summary

Machine Operator - Hardware Department

FlexiForce Canada Inc. is seeking reliable and safety-focused Machine Operators to join our Hardware Manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate production equipment to manufacture garage door hardware components while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor production equipment, including presses, bending machines, and related machinery.
- Load and handle raw materials and finished products.
- Follow work orders,



production schedules, and operating procedures.
- Perform quality checks using measuring and inspection tools.
- Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and basic maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work setting.
- Support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Experience with metal fabrication, forming, stamping, bending, or CNC equipment is an asset.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documents.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and safely handling materials.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in producing quality products and contributing to a safe, productive workplace. Previous experience in garage door hardware or metal manufacturing is an asset.

Machine Operator Competencies

Machine Operator Level 1

Machine Operator Level 2

Machine Operator Level 3

Operates 1 or 2 roll formers or single stage (& some automatic presses) under Supervision. Tooling is set up by others, and the machine is ready to run. Makes minor adjustments. Knowledge of 25 % of the skill matrix.

Operates several roll formers or automatic presses with minimal assistance. Removes and Replaces Tooling. Loads coils. Sets up and runs parts within guidelines with some assistance under the direction of the Supervisor. Productivity normally exceeds that of a Level 1 Operator. Knowledge of 50 % of the skill matrix.

Operates all roll formers, benders, and manual & automated presses on all products with minimal to no assistance. Load Coils. Performs setups within guidelines. Identifies and solves routine problems. Productivity normally exceeds that of a Level 2 Operator. Knowledge of 75 % of the skill matrix.

Key Responsibilities The Machine Operator will be accountable for:

- Safely operating metal forming equipment including riveting machines, saws, bending machines, etc. to produce formed metal parts.
- Making minor adjustments to the machine and process to meet quality requirements.
- Completing necessary paperwork.
- Performing more involved setups and troubleshooting as your skills and aptitude allow
- Bundling materials.
- Operating other machinery as necessary.
- You would be on your feet and moving and lifting on a steady basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
