Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesPick orders assignedPack orders in a manner which ensures protected transportation within the courier systemAssist in maintaining a clean work area when required.Process incoming freight and put away parts in correct bin locations as labeled and verifying parts are the same.Regular use of RF scanners during shiftShip orders as per desired method of shipping.Meet and/exceed performance targets consistently.Other Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness and professional presentation of warehouse.Notify inside administration staff of any changes required on customers packing slip.Report non- conforming products to appropriate personnel.Provide excellent customer service by meeting and exceeding the customers’ needs and expectations, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.Contribute to team spirit by assisting fellow employees with other tasks related to overall company objectives.Perform other duties related to other company business, when required.Checking shipment appointments for both inbound and outbound logistics.Verifying and unloading shipments from various vendors.Receiving shipments against different purchase orders ,



performing sortation and preparing the put-aways.Verifying the accurate quantity and quality of inventory.Resolving discrepancies, such as shortages or incorrect parts, and creating NCFs as required.Performing cycle counts, as the team is fully trained in this process.Knowledge and SkillsHigh School diplomaStrong communication and interpersonal skillsRelated Order Picking experience is a definite asset.Use and familiarity with different modes of shippingRelated customer service experience is a definite asset.Self-motivated with organizational skills are an asset.Fiscal ResponsibilityUse of company materials and equipment for business related use, as approved by managementExtent of Public ContactContinual interaction with staff in all departments and customers.Occasional visit to customer counter and showroom.Physical DemandsThe job requires extensive walking within warehouse.Occasional use of a computer terminal.Bending & lifting of up to 50 pounds.Requires assisting co-workers with objects weighing in excess of 50 lbs.Working Conditions and EnvironmentWarehouse locations may encompass exposure to heavy equipment and related conditionsClean Warehouse and occasional trips to the office area
