We are currently recruiting an experienced Materials Coordinator for our manufacturing facility located in Nisku, Alberta. Working collaboratively with peers and suppliers, the Materials Coordinator joins our certified team of manufacturing design drafters, engineers and fabrication personnel.
Key requirements and skills for the Material Coordinator include:
ü Safety first attitude and demonstrated participation in the Safety program, all day, every day ü Safe and professional operation of power equipment (forklifts and palate jacks)
– unloading all deliveries at receiving dock and transporting materials to designated areas ü Receiving and Inspection – check all incoming shipments against purchase orders ü Material tracking - attention to detail and accuracy are required ü Staging and Routing – all incoming parts and supplies to be organized, sorted and released to the manufacturing division in accordance with process requirements ü Replenishment of pick bins ü Physical Drive – can comfortably lift 50 Lbs throughout the shift ü Mechanical aptitude ü A college diploma and/or supply chain courses along with 2 years relevant experience ü Expertise with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with the suite of Microsoft products ü Forklift ticket required ü Knowledge of pipe, valves and fittings an asset
