We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Meat Wrapper to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, wrapping, and packaging high-quality meats to ensure freshness, safety, and presentation standards are met. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and customer service will help create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
- Properly cut, wrap, and package various types of meat products according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Ensure all meat products are handled with care, maintaining freshness and quality throughout the process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including sanitation of tools and surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist customers by answering questions about meat cuts, preparation tips, and product availability with friendly and professional service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Label products accurately with pricing, weight,
and expiration dates for easy identification
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality concerns
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, especially butchery or meat cutting skills, is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols consistently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting shoppers
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in meat wrapping and handling
