Purpose of the Job:
The Stationary Machine Mechanic will beresponsible for ensuring the proper operation and troubleshooting of fixed equipment, such as steam boilers, water systems, cooling systems, compressors, fire suppression systems, etc.,
and for performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct water tests and operate the plant’s boilers, cooling systems, and air compressors.
- Operate and maintain the water and pure steam systems.
- Perform various general plumbing tasks and inspect the plumbing systems.
- Visually inspect ventilation systems and perform preventive and corrective maintenance as needed.
- Test generators and the fire pump.
- Maintain building-related systems (cooling water pumps, air compressors, etc.).
- Monitor, operate, and control critical utility systems (HVAC, purified water, WFI, clean steam, and other related services) using the building automation system (BAS).
- Receive general plant alarms and take appropriate action.
- Perform tasks related to utility systems in accordance with the skills acquired during the Stationary Machinery Mechanic training program and applicable GMP requirements. Perform other tasks as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and compliance of mechanical rooms in accordance with company requirements.
Desired Certifications:
- Hold a Class 4B license in stationary machinery operation and refrigeration
Experience Required:

Skills Required:
- Conducting mechanical synchronization tests
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to complete documentation in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) specifications
- Fluency in French (spoken and written); knowledge of English is a plus
- Willingness to work on‑call.
- Demonstrated initiative and innovation
