As the first point of contact for patients and referring healthcare providers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while supporting the administrative and billing functions of our diagnostic imaging clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide excellent customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage clinic bookings
- Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records
- Perform Saskatchewan healthcare billing and claims submissions
- Verify patient health information and insurance coverage
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and referral inquiries
- Coordinate with physicians, sonographers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with privacy legislation
- Support general office administration and clinic operations
Qualifications
- Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent experience
- Previous Saskatchewan healthcare billing experience is required.
- Experience in a diagnostic imaging, radiology, or medical clinic setting is an asset
- Solid knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a busy healthcare environment
Work schedule:
MondayFriday (8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 1 hour lunch break)
