Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a solid understanding of medical office procedures, familiarity with electronic medical records, and proficiency in office management systems.

The Medical

Receptionist will ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk, coordinate patient appointments, and support clinical staff as needed.

Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages
- Collect patient information verify valid health card
- Maintain organized patient files in compliance with confidentiality standards
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including updating medical history forms




- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize provider availability and reduce wait times
- Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, professional, and welcoming at all times

Requirements

- Prior experience as a Medical Office Receptionist highly preferred
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as OSCAR PRO
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Demonstrated experience working with multi-line phone systems in a busy office environment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient information
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Office experience that includes managing appointments

Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
