: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Millwright is responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and testing of gearboxes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Refurbishment and installation of gearboxes and equipment.
- Teardown, inspection, troubleshooting, and testing of gearboxes.
- Key site contact between client and office.
- Mentoring of junior technician staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

- A certificate of qualification (red seal) as a Millwright, Machinist, or Heavy Duty Mechanic, or an indentured 2nd year apprentice in these same trades
- 3+ years of technician experience working in a machine shop.




- Fundamental understanding of the repair and testing of gearboxes.
- Experience in system troubleshooting, system fabrication.
- Understanding of industrial controls, sensors, switches, relays, etc.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of power unit fabrication, tube/piping installation, welding and machining.

- Ability to represent company on the frontlines when dealing with customers.
- Organized, Self-motivated, and hardworking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment.
- Dependable and consistent in attendance, quality, and productivity.

Working Conditions:

- General manufacturing shop specializing in gearboxes.
- Overtime as required.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Fast-paced workplace requiring high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Flexible for shift work.
