Overview

We are seeking a dedicated MVA Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our rehabilitation facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administrative and medical office experience who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. Fluency in English is mandatory. Candidates with another language, such as Russian, Armenian or Spanish will be given preference.

Responsibilities

- Greet and check-in patients at the front desk, ensuring a warm and welcoming workplace
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments through Universal Scheduling, and assist with patient inquiries
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist therapists with various administrative tasks, including data entry and documentation
- Coordinate patient referrals and obtain necessary authorizations
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient sessions and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment,



placing orders as needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide seamless patient care

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using Universal Scheduling
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of rehabilitation practices
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing paperwork is mandatory

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour
