Indigo Sky Therapy is seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at our Maple Ridge and Port Moody clinic. We support children and adolescents with autism, Down syndrome, developmental disabilities, and other neurodivergent needs.

This is a flexible, part-time independent contractor opportunity. The successful candidate will provide individualized, family-centred occupational therapy services in collaboration with Behaviour Consultants, Behaviour Interventionists, caregivers, and other professionals.

Location: Maple Ridge, Port Moody- BC

Position type: Part-time, Independent Contractor

Compensation: $80–$110 per hour, based on experience and the type of service provided

Schedule: Flexible; weekday, after-school, or weekend availability may be considered

Responsibilities

- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and identify individualized treatment priorities.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate intervention plans.
- Support fine-motor, visual-motor, sensory-regulation, self-care, and daily-living skills.
- Prepare assessment reports, progress updates, recommendations, and clinical documentation.
- Provide consultation and practical strategies to families and team members.
- Collaborate with Behaviour Consultants and other professionals when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records.
- Follow professional, ethical, privacy, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:




- Master’s degree or recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
- Professional liability insurance.
- Experience supporting children or adolescents with developmental disabilities or neurodivergent needs is preferred.
- Experience with autism, Down syndrome, sensory needs, fine-motor development, and daily-living skills is an asset.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Successful criminal record check with the vulnerable sector, as required.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.
