Chance ID: 4385 Description of Duties: The Office Volunteer contributes to the smooth running of the organization by supporting subscribers and prospective clients to live at home for as long as possible. Volunteers will prepare client materials, use the computer, conduct satisfaction surveys by phone, and complete other administrative tasks.
Skills Required Demonstrated organizational talent, interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Previous office experience,
including telephone skills, computer skills, and preparing documents would be an asset.
Skills Gained/Related Careers Develop competency/experience in customer service, time management, process planning and computer literacy. Contribute to improved patient care at the Victoria Hospital and support independent living Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+ Time Commitment: Daytime Minimum 3 hour shift weekly commitment.
