Luna Nanotech is a fast-growing, young company that harnesses the power of nanotechnology to advance biomedical research. We develop and distribute molecular biology tools for nucleic acid and protein purification, custom biocompatible nanoparticles, and various laboratory consumables. In the last few years, we’ve had fantastic growth and moved into a new dedicated space.

We used our expertise from supplying reagents for Covid-19 diagnostics to develop a new comprehensive product line of molecular biology products for DNA and RNA extraction and purification. With a rapidly growing customer base and increasing order volumes Luna Nanotech is now looking for an Order Fulfilment Associate, Full Time to join our growing team. Role Summary

You will oversee packing and shipping customer orders, setting up and tracking national and international shipments with the best value couriers, coordinating with the manufacturing team to ensure the products are shipped out in a timely manner, keeping track of inventory, and managing warehouse organization. Responsibilities

Assembling, labelling, and packaging orders for shipping; collecting products based on orders, using item numbers, bin locations, and quantities

Work closely with the manufacturing team to coordinate assembly of products to fulfil customer orders

Perform visual quality checks for correct product, damage, proper quantity, and report any errors

Use Ship Station, Freightcom, DHL, FedEx shipping software to set up shipments with the best value courier

Keep track of shipment and coordinate with couriers by email and phone to resolve order pickup and delivery issues

Careful consideration of specific shipping requirements (carrier choice, timeframe) as indicated in the order description,



providing required information for international shipments

Keeping track of inventory and communicate with the purchasing team the need to restock items when stock levels fall below threshold value

Receiving palleted restocking shipments and stocking the products to appropriate locations on warehouse shelves

Keep warehouse clean and organized

Follow specific work instructions and pre-established guidelines in a safe and productive manner

Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Experience

Ability to manage their time effectively to complete all orders within a set timeframe

Detailed-oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment

Interpersonal skills to work well within a team environment

Have good attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to follow oral and/or written instruction

Basic computer skills, ability to work in multiple applications at the same time (Excel, email, shipping software)

Be able to lift 50 lb. While most of our products are lighter, there are several heavier products

Be punctual to arrive and leave the workplace at the designated time

Preference will be given to candidates with prior warehousing and order fulfillment experience

Some familiarity or education in biological sciences would be beneficial Position Details

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Hours per week: 40

Compensation range: $19 - $24 / hr
