Doncaster-Oakcrest Child Care is looking to hire out of school care leaders for the 2026/27 school year. Available shifts are all mornings (7am - 9 am) and all afternoons (2:15pm - 5:30 pm). There are also opportunities to work in Camps during Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer. 4% vacation paid out on each paycheque and ten paid sick days after three month probationary period.

Shifts are perfect for UVIC or Camosun College students as we can be flexible. We are a great organization to work for!!

Requirements are

1. Must be 19 years of age or older
2. Must have 20 hours of childcare related courses (child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition) or be willing to take the Responsible Adult Online Course
3. Must hold a valid first aid certificate
4.



Must submit to a criminal record check

Experience working with children in a recreational setting is a definite asset. Only those chosen to be interviewed will be contacted.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$20.50 per hour
