Double A Painting Ltd. — located in Victoria, BC — is looking for 2 Painters to join its team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- This position includes the preparation and painting of both interior and exterior surfaces in residential, commercial, multifamily complexes, and heritage buildings
- Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, filling, and caulking to repair imperfections and prepare various surfaces for the application of coatings
- Read and follow the specifications in the work order and follow the direction of your Foreman or Supervisor
- Apply paint or other materials, such as primers or stains, using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Safely use ladders and elevated work platforms to perform the required tasks
- Maintain a secure and tidy work area and clean up at the end of each day

Job Requirements:

Education: High school education is required

Experience:

- Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program, or
- 2 years of work experience in the trade

Language: English

Job Location: All over Victoria, depending on contract

Salary: $37.00 to $38.50 per hour for 30–40 hrs/week
