Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent is primarily responsible for the application of various paint products to prepared interior and exterior surfaces throughout Winnipeg School Division. In addition, the incumbent may be assigned window repair/maintenance and glazing duties when required.

Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To:

- application of various paint products
- prepare interior and exterior surfaces throughout the Division
- may be assigned window repair/maintenance and glazing duties when required

Qualifications:

- Manitoba Department of Labour Journeyman Painters Certificate or Red Seal Certification

- Minimum of one year prior painting, spray painting and/or glazing experience upon obtaining journeyman status is required

- Valid Manitoba class 5F driver’s license is required

- Dedication to anti-racism, equity, and diversity

- Proven commitment to Truth and Reconciliation

- Proven ability to build collaborated cultures founded on integrity and collective purpose
