Core Role Requirements
- Expertise: Deep understanding of cabinet construction, wood species, and part identification.
- Machinery: Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC machines, edge banders, forklifts, and supporting pneumatic systems (compressors/vacuum pumps).
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, knowledge of machining programs, and understanding of tooling requirements.
- Physicality: Ability to lift 75 lbs and a valid forklift ticket.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow: Daily work order reviews and material organization to ensure production targets are met.
- Quality Control: Mandatory inspection of every job before it leaves the machining or edge banding stations.
- Maintenance: Routine upkeep of all shop machinery and keeping the workspace organized and clean.
- Safety: Strict adherence to company safety policies and a willingness to work overtime when requested.
