Make a difference as a Part time Emergency Medical Technician at Meadow Lake Hospital. Providing vital Basic Life Support services, you will play a crucial role in patient care and emergency response. In this permanent position with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, you will deliver emergent and non-emergent Basic Life Support (BLS) services to the sick and injured.

This role requires candidates to have a strong skill set, including communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently. You will engage in standby shifts, averaging 56 hours over 16 weeks, ensuring support for patient care until hospital authorities assume responsibility. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide Basic Life Support services to patients
- Respond to both emergent and non-emergent medical situations




- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain a valid Class 4 driver’s license
- Ensure continuing patient care until transferred to a Paramedic Requirements:
- Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
- Registered or eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
- Completion of Pre-Hospital Care Program - PCP Level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
