About Estate Cosmetics
Estate Cosmetics is a colourful, trend-driven and affordable beauty brand sold through approximately 1,700 retail doors across Canada. We are entering our next stage of growth across social media, retail and international markets.
We are a small, hands-on team. We move quickly, create internally and care more about strong execution than agency-style presentations.
The role
We are looking for a part-time junior social media and brand coordinator to help make Estate more visible, culturally relevant and active online.
This is not a strategy-only role. You will help create content, contact creators, prepare gifting, organize products, visit stores and make sure ideas are actually executed.
You will work approximately 20 hours per week over three consistent days, closely supporting the founders and brand team across social media, creator gifting, community management, content production and retail marketing.
What you will do
- Plan and maintain Estate’s weekly Instagram and TikTok content calendar.
- Film, edit, caption, schedule and publish Reels, TikToks, Stories and simple product content.
- Turn beauty trends, product launches, retail moments and customer questions into relevant content.
- Manage comments, direct messages and day-to-day community engagement on working days.
- Identify relevant beauty creators and micro-influencers for gifting and collaborations.
- Handle creator outreach, product selection, shipping coordination and follow-up.
- Maintain an organized creator database and track gifting, posts received and reusable content.
- Coordinate giveaways, product mailers and small creator campaigns.
- Help prepare content shoots, including shot lists, products, props and basic creative direction.
- Organize Estate’s product closet, gifting inventory, samples and marketing materials.
- Visit retail stores when needed to photograph displays, shelves and product presentation.
- Support product launches and retailer-marketing projects.
- Maintain a simple weekly tracker covering content produced, creator outreach, gifting, results and next steps.
Who we are looking for
- You are genuinely interested in beauty, makeup, social media and creator culture.
- You have zero to two years of relevant experience, or a strong portfolio developed through internships, freelance work, school or personal projects.
- You understand what performs on TikTok and Instagram and can distinguish strong content from generic brand content.
- You can shoot valuable content using a phone and edit efficiently using CapCut, Canva or Adobe.
- You can write natural, concise captions and creator messages.
- You are organized enough to manage gifting, shipping, follow-ups and deadlines without losing track.
- You are comfortable contacting creators and building relationships.
- You take ownership and do not need every task broken into detailed instructions.
- You are willing to handle both creative work and practical execution, including packing gifting boxes, organizing products and visiting stores.
- Beauty, cosmetics, fashion or consumer-brand experience is an asset.
- English fluency is required. French is an asset.
- You are available to work approximately 20 hours across three consistent days each week.
- A large personal following is not required. Strong taste, judgment and execution matter more.
Why join This is a hands-on role where your work will go live quickly, reach real customers and directly shape how Estate grows. The position is designed as a focused three-day-per-week role, with room to expand over time based on the brand’s growth and the candidate’s performance.
