Enhance the creative landscape as a Part-Time Master Instructor in Arts and Culture at the Town of Oakville. Deliver engaging woodworking classes for diverse age groups including children, youth, and adults. This position supports current and future opportunities at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. You'll prepare and lead classes while engaging in research to develop safe and inclusive woodworking programs.

Experience effective teaching methods that inspire participants and meet community objectives. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and deliver woodworking classes for varied age groups
- Develop creative and safe programming for all participants
- Provide positive and engaging learning experiences
- Support Town department objectives and community goals
- Assist with lesson planning and activity development Requirements:
- Enrollment in or completion of a relevant post-secondary program
- Robust knowledge of fine woodworking and design
- Experience in developing lesson plans
- Previous teaching experience in educational settings
- Ability to adapt teaching practices for diverse audiences Bring your passion for art, woodworking expertise, and teaching skills to inspire creativity in the community.
