Job Overview

Hockey Development Centre (HDC) Calgary is looking for an outgoing, motivated, and results-driven Part-Time Sales & Marketing Representative to help grow our business, build community partnerships, and increase awareness of our programs and facility.

This is a commission-based position ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and creating new business opportunities. The schedule is flexible and can work well for someone looking for a part-time opportunity with earning potential based on results.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and connect with potential sponsors, advertisers, and community partners
- Sell advertising and sponsorship opportunities within HDC
- Develop relationships with local businesses and organizations
- Help promote HDC programs, camps, clinics, events, and other opportunities
- Generate new leads and follow up with prospective clients
- Assist with creative marketing and promotional ideas




- Represent HDC professionally within the Calgary hockey and business communities
- Maintain communication and follow-up with prospective and current partners
- Work with the HDC team to identify new opportunities for growth

- Friendly, confident, and comfortable approaching new businesses and clients
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Organized with strong communication and follow-up skills
- Sales-minded and motivated by results
- Creative and willing to bring recent ideas to the table
- Familiar with social media and basic marketing strategies
- Comfortable networking and building long-term relationships
- Knowledge of hockey, sports, or the Calgary business community is an asset, but not required

Compensation This is a commission-based part-time position, with earnings based on successful sales, sponsorships, advertising partnerships, and other approved revenue-generating opportunities.

Specific commission structure will be discussed with successful candidates.
