Summary
We are seeking a hard working, responsible and motivated individual to join our positive and pasta-loving workplace! This position will be part-time OR full-time. This Food Preparation role is vital in ensuring the quality and consistency of our pasta, sauces and prepared food products.
*Culinary training and/or restaurant/food service experience is an absolute must.
*Robust knowledge of fresh pasta making and Italian food is a definite bonus.
*Food Handler's certificate is preferred.

It is expected that the ideal candidate is able to:
- Have good knife skills.
- Work independently and follow instructions/recipes with efficiency.
- Work in an organized fashion.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Lift 20kg (44lbs).
- Stand for long periods of time (8 hours+).
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Daily production and assembly of prepared food items (lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, etc...)
- Food preparation (chopping, slicing, dicing, etc...)
- Following recipes (making sauces, fillings, etc...)
- Operating pasta making machinery (extruder, gnocchi, ravioli, etc...)
- Washing pots, pans and equipment.
Compensation:
- Based on experience and skill.
