Health serves a population of approximately 750,000 across a geographically diverse region of southern BC through six regional hospitals. The IHA Department of Laboratory Medicine currently has 44 regional pathologists and laboratory physicians, while additional positions are being actively recruited at several regional centres. We process more than 100,000 surgical pathology specimens annually, including approximately 35,000 at KGH.

The successful applicant will provide consultative and diagnostic surgical pathology and autopsy services in Kelowna. The position also includes opportunities to engage in academic activities with the Southern Medical Program of the University of British Columbia (UBC), which trains 32 medical students per year in Kelowna.
