This is an in office role located in Richmond Hill, ON, for a Personal Support Worker.

The Personal Support

Worker will assist with day-to-day tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, sitter, and mobility support. The role involves fostering a safe, caring environment, monitoring the overall well-being of clients, and providing companionship to promote emotional well-being.



The individual will also ensure adherence to established health and safety guidelines while promoting the independence of clients. Qualifications

Experience as a Support Worker and knowledge of best practices related to caregiving

Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills to build rapport and interact effectively with clients and families An understanding of Safeguarding principles to ensure client safety and well-being

Basic Technical Support skills for operating assistive devices and other home care equipment

Compassionate nature, reliability, and ability to work effectively under minimal supervision

Certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent qualification

Current CPR and First Aid certification

Ability to provide care with respect and dignity, maintaining confidentiality
