CORE FUNCTION
Provide pharmaceutical care services to clinic and non-clinic clients.
Directs, guides, and evaluates pharmacy technicians, assistants, and/or students as required.
In collaboration with the physician provide prescriptions and medication counselling and drug education as part of the interdisciplinary team with a strong emphasis on health promotion and disease management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Registration with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP).
- Registration with Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS).
- Must be bondable.
- Insurance malpractice insurance.
- Must have knowledge of and capability with the philosophy and policies of CHSA.
- Good oral and communication skills.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Able to work independently as well as work as a team member.
- Able to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy.
- Demonstrates solid interpersonal and collaborative communication skills and professional attitude.
