About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have previous community pharmacy experience and a strong working knowledge of the Kroll Pharmacy Management System.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy assistant experience in a community pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge and experience using the Kroll Pharmacy Management System.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with prescription processing, data entry, and third-party billing is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation and processing.
- Enter prescriptions accurately into the Kroll system.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of medications.
- Process insurance and third-party claims.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures.
- Support daily pharmacy operations and workflow.
