A & O: Support Services for Older Adults' Connect Program is looking for a volunteer to provide social companionship to an older adult living in the Winnipeg community through weekly phone calls. A & O currently requires volunteers who enjoy conversation and have strong conversational and interpersonal skills. If you can commit a minimum of one hour a week in the morning, afternoon, or evening, you can make a difference for an older adult living in our community.

Opportunity to attend training session on a variety of topics related to aging Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+ Time Commitment: Daytime , Evening , Weekend , Flexible Hours Volunteers are free to complete calls during mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends depending on the schedules of both the volunteer and the older adult.
