Are you a pianist, singer, and/or guitarist with a passion for music, a sunny disposition, and a creative spark? Do you thrive when working with young learners and teens? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our vibrant team at Accents Music Learning Centre as a part‑time piano and voice teacher.

We’re looking for someone interested in a long‑term, part‑time teaching role with built‑in breaks during Summer, March Break, and Christmas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Type: Part-time, with potential for additional hours through subbing

Current Openings: Weekday evenings and Saturday daytime

Additional Opportunities: Occasional subbing Monday–Thursday (3:30–8:30pm) and Saturdays

Seasonal Breaks: Enjoy time off during Christmas, March Break, and summer

- Inspire students of all ages and abilities through engaging, supportive music instruction
- Teach during afternoons, evenings, or weekends to supplement your income
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative learning environment

REQUIREMENTS

- Education: Undergraduate degree in Music (Voice or Piano) OR equivalent training; strong musical background is essential
- Experience:



Prior teaching experience required
- Exam Preparation: Familiarity with Practical and Theory exam preparation is an asset

BONUS SKILLS

- Experience preparing students for Music Festivals
- Comfort with technology (Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, etc.)
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new programs
- Strong organizational skills and punctuality
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Problem‑solving abilities
- Knowledge of additional instruments

JOB DETAILS

Type: Part-time, Freelance

Compensation: $26.00–$32.00 per hour

Hours: 8–20 hours per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
