Job Summary

We are looking to hire a dedicated, energetic, and customer-focused Pizza Cook (plus Customer Service Associate) to join our vibrant restaurant team at Papa Murphy's Pizza, located in Valleyview, Kamloops.

The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and genuinely enjoys delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role combines high-quality pizza preparation with front-line customer service, requiring strong communication skills, a cheerful attitude, and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Portion ingredients, prep vegetables, and maintain organized food stations
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards while strictly following food safety and hygiene protocols
- Provide friendly, upbeat, and efficient customer service at the counter
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members to ensure accurate and timely orders
- Handle busy periods with composure, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with stocking, inventory management, and supply organization
- Address customer questions or concerns professionally and help find positive solutions
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency,



workflow, and overall customer experience
- Occasionally assist with deliveries in emergency situations or staffing shortages (if required)

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred (atleast 1 year)
- Valid driver’s license considered an asset
- Food Safe Certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of food safety and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cheerful, positive, and customer-first attitude
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think outside the box
- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
- Open to learning, coaching, and constructive feedback
- Ability to handle pressure during peak hours while staying organized
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
