Duties
- Cook pizzas to perfection using commercial ovens, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed, maintaining high standards of food handling and safety
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Serve customers efficiently by managing orders accurately and providing friendly service when interacting with guests
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, workstations,
and storage spaces
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation and excellent food service
Requirements
- Prior experience in cooking within a restaurant or food service setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with meal preparation, especially in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or pizzeria
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques specific to pizza making and general kitchen operations
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude toward customers and team members
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently under pressure
