We are seeking a motivated Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring smooth, durable finishes that meet project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure optimal plaster adhesion
- Mix plaster materials according to manufacturer instructions for consistent quality
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using trowels, hawks, and floats with precision and efficiency
- Perform caulking around joints and fixtures to ensure airtight and watertight finishes
- Coordinate with carpentry teams for framing adjustments or repairs prior to plaster application
- Conduct touch-ups and smooth finishes to achieve the desired aesthetic quality
- Maintain a clean work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Utilize handyman skills for minor repairs or adjustments as needed during project execution
Skills
- Experience in construction painting, plastering, or related trades with a focus on surface finishing an asset
- Knowledge of construction processes, including blueprint reading and surface preparation
- Skilled in carpentry techniques relevant to framing and structural adjustments
- Ability to perform caulking effectively around joints, fixtures, and seams
- Handyman experience with the ability to troubleshoot on-site issues promptly
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical specifications for accurate execution of work
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and working at heights as required
