The Power Line
Technician will handle maintenance and construction on transmission and distribution lines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your skills in troubleshooting, testing, and preventative maintenance will directly impact the efficiency of our electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance using hot stick and cold methods
- Troubleshoot and test transmission and distribution lines
- Operate boom trucks and aerial equipment as needed
- Follow the Corporation's Safety and Health Program
- Ensure compliance with environmental work standards Requirements:
- High school and journeyperson graduation as an operating line worker
- Minimum one year of line maintenance experience
- High Voltage DC experience is an asset
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations required
