What Your Days Will Look Like
- Screen passengers and their personal belongings with rigour, professionalism, and in compliance with national aviation security standards
- Ensure that no prohibited items gain access to secure areas
- Manage access to restricted areas consistently and with vigilance
- Remain alert and respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and violations
- Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts, alarms, and potential threats
- Accurately document and report security-related incidents, violations, and concerns
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- A clean criminal record with eligibility to obtain the required aviation security clearance (RAIC), which requires Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Ability to work on-site at Ottawa International Airport (YOW) in Ottawa
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required to effectively serve an international clientele
