Permanent, Full Time The Strategy, Performance and International Engagement Group shapes and aligns strategy, policy, planning, evaluation and communication across the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification to ensure effective delivery, resource utility and a continued focus on Government’s priorities.
The Group also leads the Government’s investment, trade and international engagement agenda. DEED is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Principal Business Development Officer to join our Investment Attraction Branch within the Strategy,
Performance and International Engagement Group. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Western Australia's economic growth and diversification by facilitating foreign direct investment, supporting trade opportunities, and building strong relationships with industry, government and international stakeholders.
As a key member of the team, you will identify and progress trade and investment opportunities across priority sectors, provide high-quality advice to clients and stakeholders, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen Western Australia's global competitiveness and economic development. Reporting to the Manager Business Development, you will provide a client-focused approach to investment and trade facilitation and support activities that contribute to the State’s diversification and economic development objectives.
