Insight Global is seeking a Project Geologist, Exploration for a top mining client. This candidate will play a key role in supporting exploration activities at a large-scale, world-class gold mining operation. Working closely with the Senior Exploration Geologist, the successful candidate will oversee field programs, supervise contractors and personnel, manage geological data, and provide technical guidance across multiple exploration initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong geologist with experience in mineral exploration, leadership capabilities, and a passion for advancing exploration programs through data-driven decision-making and innovative exploration techniques.

Day-to-Day:

- Lead by example in health, safety, and environmental practices
- Supervise exploration employees and on-site contractors
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Develop schedules and workflows for exploration activities
- Plan and execute drilling, mapping, trenching, prospecting, geophysical, and geochemical programs
- Provide technical oversight of exploration programs
- Manage and interpret geological and geotechnical data
- Identify and evaluate new exploration targets
- Perform daily QA/QC reviews of geological and geotechnical datasets
- Review and approve drill shift reports in CorePlan
- Support technical studies, reports, and exploration initiatives
- Monitor project progress, budgets,



and timelines
- Collaborate with geologists, operations teams, and key stakeholders
- Assist with implementation of recent technologies and procedures
- Complete additional exploration-related duties as required

Required Skills & Experience:

- BSc in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Geologist (P.Geo.)
- Minimum 5 years of mining and/or mineral exploration experience
- Experience planning and executing exploration programs
- Strong geological data management and interpretation skills
- Experience supervising employees and contractors
- Proficiency with exploration and geological software (Acquire, Leapfrog, QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.)
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy physical work (up to 55 lbs)
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards

Starting Salary: $120,000
