Proposal Manager in the large hydro proposal team. This team is responsible to prepare technical and commercial proposals for large and complex turnkey hydro projects generally in response to a client Request for Proposals.

Proposal

Manager is responsible for the complete proposal and is expected to work closely with System Engineer(s), Cost Estimator and Contract Manager(s) to ensure the completeness and quality of the proposal. Possibility to work from Pointe-Claire, Boucherville, or Chambly office. Hybrid work mode from Tuesday to Thursday in the office. Facilitate and lead the decision process within the proposal team regarding strategic issues such as partner selection, performance levels, procurement strategy, etc.

- Organize and lead the required internal meetings per Andritz Hydro Proposal Management Processes
- Develop the recommended selling price based upon the assembled costs and identified risks
- Represent the proposal and the proposal team with both local management and the customer
- Submit the offer and participate in the client negotiations (inclusive of getting the contract signed)
- Transfer seamlessly to the execution team upon contract award.

Bachelor

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

- Knowledge of commercial & technical aspects of power plant equipment
- Project Management skills – ability to handle multiple complex tasks daily
- Commercial contract knowledge and robust negotiation skills
- Knowledge of products, technical aspects and market related to hydroelectric business desired (an asset)
