The Opportunity

Highspring is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join a Digital Channels Quality team supporting the delivery of web, mobile, API, backend, and digital platform initiatives.

This role extends well beyond traditional test execution. You will be embedded within Agile delivery teams, working closely with developers, architects, analysts, and delivery leaders to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a strong Shift-Left mindset, technical curiosity, automation expertise, and the ability to influence teams and improve delivery practices.

What You'll Do

- Analyze business requirements and define testing strategies early in the delivery lifecycle.
- Design, execute, and continuously improve manual and automated testing approaches.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites.
- Identify, monitor, and manage defects, production issues, and customer-impacting problems.
- Create and maintain test data to support quality initiatives.
- Perform API, UI, backend, security, and performance testing activities.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams using a Shift-Left quality approach.
- Advocate for quality best practices across delivery teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and software delivery practices.
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide a quality-focused perspective.
- Maintain version-controlled testing assets using Git.




- Contribute to the evolution of QA practices through documentation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring to the Table

- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfort challenging assumptions and influencing teams to improve quality outcomes.
- Passion for continuous learning and emerging technologies.

- Strong experience designing and executing both manual and automated testing strategies.

Hands-on experience with test automation tools, including:
- Cypress
- Postman
- REST Assured
- Appium
- Detox

Experience testing:
- APIs
- Web applications
- Mobile applications
- Backend systems

Strong understanding of:
- Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
- CI/CD practices

Experience with DevOps and engineering tools including:
- Git
- GitHub
- Docker
