Quality Inspector (Aerospace)

Position Summary
Are you detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about quality? We're looking for a Quality Inspector to join our team and help ensure our products and services meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some inspection, manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, mechanical, or technical experience who is eager to learn and grow within a regulated industry. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Verification
- Inspect incoming materials, components, and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Perform in-process and final inspections using approved procedures and technical documentation
- Verify measurements, dimensions, and workmanship using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Complete inspection records and quality documentation accurately and thoroughly
- Identify and report quality concerns, discrepancies, and non-conformances
Quality & Compliance
- Support compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with investigations of quality issues and implementation of corrective actions
- Ensure inspection tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow established quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams
- Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally
- Participate in training and development opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environment
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, aviation, aerospace, maintenance, machining, assembly, or a related technical field
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, or technical documents
- Basic experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or a regulated industry
- Familiarity with quality management systems or inspection processes
- Knowledge of Transport Canada, FAA, AS9100, or similar quality standards
- Experience investigating and documenting quality issues
