- Oversee quality documentation, specifications, control plans, inspection requirements, work instructions, and records.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for customer concerns, nonconforming product, rework, scrap, warranty concerns, and process issues.
- Track and communicate quality performance, including customer complaints, PPM, scrap, rework, cost of poor quality, audit findings, and corrective action status.

- Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, control plans, and launch quality activities for new or changed products, materials, and processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop the quality team, including inspectors, technicians, auditors, and quality support personnel.
- Act as a key customer quality contact, supporting investigations, containment, customer responses, scorecards, and improvement plans.
- Promote a positive quality culture built on prevention, accountability, data-based decisions, and collaborative problem solving.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.
- Experience preparing for and supporting internal audits, customer audits, supplier audits, and external certification audits.
- Demonstrated ability to lead corrective actions, root cause analysis, containment, and verification of effectiveness.
- Knowledge of automotive core tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and control plans.
- Experience managing customer requirements, specifications, nonconforming material, rework activities, and quality documentation.
- Strong communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with production, engineering, supply chain, technical services, and management teams.
- Legendary Attitude!

Preferred Qualifications

- ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 internal auditor or lead auditor training.
- ASQ certification, Six Sigma certification or equivalent, Lean manufacturing experience, or equivalent continuous improvement background.
- Experience with quality system management, customer portals, layered process audits, 8D reporting, and management review.
- Experience in plastic, metal, assembly, coating, extrusion, or other automotive component manufacturing processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will be a confident and approachable quality leader who understands both the technical and people side of manufacturing. You will be comfortable walking the floor, reviewing data, asking good questions, supporting your team, and helping the business move from reaction to prevention. You bring structure to complex issues, communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, and care about building strong relationships while maintaining high standards for compliance, product quality, and customer satisfaction across multiple sites under the corporate umbrella.
