Join Heidelberg Materials as a Ready-Mix Driver at our Waterdown, Ontario plant. Deliver ready-mix concrete safely while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and customer specifications. As a Ready-Mix Driver, you will operate manual and automatic vehicles for concrete delivery.
This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate delivery records and vehicle inspections. You'll be expected to handle concrete chutes safely and perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for concrete delivery
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle cab and exterior
- Ensure accurate delivery records and effective communication with dispatch
- Handle and place concrete safely at job sites Requirements:
- Valid Class DZ or AZ driver’s license with clean abstract
- Experience driving manual and automatic vehicles
- Robust customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
