We are currently seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer looking to work with an established client base, experienced support staff, and a collaborative team of lawyers in a firm that values professionalism and integrity. We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will:

- Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish.
- Draft and review Agreements of Purchase and Sale, mortgage and financing documents, easements, transfers, and other real estate documentation.
- Conduct title reviews and resolve title-related issues.
- Advise clients on purchases, sales, refinancing, private lending transactions, and commercial real estate matters.
- Review due diligence materials, including title searches, surveys, municipal searches,



and planning documents.
- Communicate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, municipalities, and opposing counsel to ensure transactions close efficiently.
- Provide practical legal advice while identifying and resolving issues that arise throughout a transaction.
- Work closely with experienced law clerks and administrative staff to provide exceptional client service.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess:

- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- At least 3 years of experience practising real estate law.
- Experience managing residential and commercial real estate files independently.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and client service skills.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Teraview, Unity, Conveyancer or similar real estate software is required.
- Experience with PCLaw is considered an asset.
