Drive the referrals process as a Referrals Manager at Lil’wat Nation, ensuring organized, rights-protective consultations. This role is full time and key to Indigenous governance. Reporting to the Director of Title and Rights, this position leads the management of referrals related to land and resources, emphasizing timely responses and due diligence.

You will work closely with the Referrals Committee and various stakeholders to protect Aboriginal rights and interests in decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead intake and timely processing of referrals
- Maintain detailed tracking systems for consultations
- Support committee meetings with necessary documentation
- Escalate urgent or complex referral items
- Align responses with cultural and legal insights Requirements:
- Degree in environmental studies, law, or similar
- Minimum 5 years in consultations or Indigenous governance
- Strong understanding of regulatory processes in BC
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
