This position targets a clinician skilled in providing care to older adults experiencing psychological and behavioral symptoms of dementia. The RN will be pivotal in reducing restraint use while demonstrating expertise in psychiatric nursing and crisis intervention. Candidates should possess a collaborative mindset and a commitment to career development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide patient and family-centered care for older adults
- Reduce the use of restraints and seclusion in treatment




- Utilize the Gentle Persuasive Approach for dementia care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
- Document nursing practices per professional standards Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS/HCP certification required
- Experience in psychiatric nursing and crisis intervention
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications in older adults
