Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities, medical history, and current condition to develop tailored treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and functional improvement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to maximize recovery outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques,
and post-treatment exercises for ongoing health maintenance
- Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare standards
- Assist in the training and supervision of students or new staff members as needed
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate licensing authority in your region
- Proven experience working in hospital environments, preferably with exposure to acute care settings
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical assessment techniques
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient needs
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and colleagues
