Job Overview The Institute for Sports Physiotherapy and Performance is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Physiotherapist focusing in Orthopaedic and Sports rehabilitation to join our fun and dynamic ISP team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional physiotherapy services to patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions. Your expertise will help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and restore their active lifestyles through personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with orthopaedic and sports injuries to determine treatment needs and develop tailored rehabilitation programs.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Physicians, Sports Physiotherapist, Athletic Therapist, Sports Dietitians, Massage Therapist and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery and performance.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery milestones are achieved.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments provided, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with the latest advancements in orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy practices.
Requirements
- Valid registration as a licensed Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario.
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting diverse patient needs.
- Ability to work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced clinical environments.
Recommended
- Valid registration as a licensed Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario.
- 2 years of clinical experience is preferred but current grads are welcome to apply
- Completion or in pursuit of Certificate and Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy is an asset
- Completion or in pursuit of Pelvic Floor specialization is an asset
- Completion or in pursuit of FCAMPT is an asset
- Rostered for acupuncture / dry needling is an asset
- Concussion management certification is an asset
- Additional professional development training may be an asset and will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Compliance
- Must adhere to all standards, guidelines, and ethical codes set by the CPO, including documentation, consent, and controlled act regulations in addition to ISP’s professional standards.
Compensation
- Independent contractor basis.
- Compensation: 40–55% of billable services, depending on experience and professional development.
