We're looking for a friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our chocolate shop. If you enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and have a passion for chocolate, we'd love to meet you!
This role combines customer service with hands-on experience learning how our chocolates are made. No previous cooking or baking experience is required—we'll provide all the training you need.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
- Answer questions about our chocolates and products.
- Process sales accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Restock merchandise and maintain attractive product displays.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting.
- Package chocolates and gift items with care.
- Learn to assist with chocolate production, including molding, decorating, packaging, and other confectionery tasks under supervision.
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support daily store operations.
Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to speak English confidently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on a variety of tasks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
