We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our team as a Roofing Laborer. This role involves hands-on construction and maintenance work, requiring a robust work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at heights and outdoors for long periods of time.
Duties
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform various construction, repair, and maintenance tasks
- Assist crew with ground and roof top clean up
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and durability of structures
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently
- Assist in general duties such as tear off, prep work and site cleanliness, clean up
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards, with a positive attitude.
Experience
- Proven experience construction labor an asset. Higher pay rates available for previous roofing laborer experience (prep, vents, tear off, etc...).
- Familiarity / comfort with hand tools, power tools is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required for success in this role
- Must have Working at Heights or be willing to obtain
- Must have or be willing to obtain all appropriate PPE and basic hand tools
Pay: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
