We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Safety and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance department, facilities and workplace safety program across the Division. Reporting to the Superintendent/CEO or designate, the Safety and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor provides strategic leadership for the maintenance and operation of all Division facilities while ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained learning environments for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, supervise, mentor and evaluate the Division's maintenance team
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair programs across all Division facilities
- Oversee building systems including; plumbing, fire safety, security, and building infrastructure
- Develop and implement workplace safety programs and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health legislation
- Coordinate inspections, certifications, contractor services, and maintenance projects
- Lead capital planning, tendering, and facility improvement initiatives
- Prepare reports, budgets, and recommendations for Senior Management




- Support emergency response planning and building operations

Qualifications:

- Several years of progressive facilities, maintenance or construction experience
- Experience supervising and developing staff
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and building systems
- Knowledge of Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health legislation and WHMIS requirements
- Experience managing contractors, capital projects, and budgets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is considered an asset
- A valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license

Schedule: 8.0 hour per day, 12 months per year Start date: September 14, 2026, or as soon as possible
