Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on pet products, accessories, and supplies
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits of various items
- Assist customers with their purchases at the POS (Point of Sale) system, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to highlight featured items and promotions
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure products are well-presented
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly,



and maintaining phone etiquette when assisting remote inquiries

Skills

- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales environments, especially involving pet or specialty products
- Strong communication skills for engaging customers and explaining product features clearly
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions
- Knowledge of merchandising principles to create attractive displays
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers on product benefits
- Excellent organizational skills for managing inventory and maintaining store cleanliness
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
